Gosaikunda trek is leveled as medium hard in terms of difficulty though the level of difficulty depends on other things such as age factor, your trekking habit, physical fitness, the itinerary you choose or the weather of the season you are trekking in. These reasons decide whether the trek is going to be easy or hard. You need to keep in mind that you will be reaching at 4380 meter in two days from Dunche (2100m). And 2200 meter descend from Gosaikunda to Dunche in one day if you select 5 days itinerary.

The Langtang valley lies in the Rasuwa district of the Bagmati Province in Nepal. Situated 80 Kilometers north of the Kathmandu Valley and it lies within the Langtang National Park which borders the Tibet autonomous region of China. The park contains a wide variety of climatic zones, from subtropical to alpine.
