Overview: Short Trail 10k
The KVR Summit Challenge #3 – Fun Run & Hike will take place on 13 December 2025, starting near the Godawari Bus Park. This category is specifically designed for beginners, offering a scenic, enjoyable route that does not climb to high elevation. The course begins with a gentle run toward the Godawari Bus Park before following the Phulchowki road for the first 2 km. This section is quiet in the early morning with minimal vehicle movement and remains fully within the forest.
At approximately the 2 km mark, participants will leave the main road and continue straight onto a small trail where the uphill section begins. This climb is roughly 1 km long and does not include any staircases, making it friendly for new runners and hikers. Upon reaching Checkpoint 1, the crew will be present to guide participants in the correct direction.
After the checkpoint, the route becomes mostly flat while still weaving through beautiful forest terrain. There are several side trails in this area, so it is essential to follow the event markings and GPX track carefully. After about 7–8 km, the trail opens onto a jeep road, which continues all the way to the finish line.
Note: From CP1 to the finish, the route overlaps with the Summit Challenge course, giving runners and hikers plenty of time to enjoy the nature, atmosphere, and shared trail experience.
