Ranikot lies in the South-East side of Kathmandu from where you will get one of the most stunning view of the Kathmandu Valley and the whole Himalayan range. The first few kilometers you will run on jeep tracks with local villages and above the Godawari forest. From there will start a steep climb to the highest peak of the valley rim Phulchoki Peak which is 2780 meter. From there you will start to run downhill till the last CP Nallu where you will reach the lowest point of the valley rim run. The last section of this trail is where our runners can enjoy the views of Pharping through the suspension bridge and huge farm area and the last few kilometers will be on the flat where you can feel in the shade and finishing at Solid Rock Lodge at Dollu, Pharping.
The Manjushree Trail Running (MTR) event is a premier trail running competition that takes place in Nepal. The event caters to runners of all levels and backgrounds, with races ranging from 100 miles to 5 km.
The start of these races will be followed by a scenic lunch on the valley rim, giving all participants the opportunity to witness the runners of the 100 Mile, 100 Km, 54 Km, and 24 Km Manjushree Trail Races cross the finish line.
Sindhupalchowk International Trail Race (SITR) event is a premier trail running competition that takes place in Sindhupalchok District, Nepal. The event caters to runners of all levels and backgrounds, with races ranging from 60 Kilometers to just 28 Kilometers.
